A Student Unions' Executive consists of a group of individuals, who are working together for a short time period which is usually one year. The Executive needs to be able to work in parallel with the staff and all must perform as a team. They have to 'hit the ground running' in order to achieve their objectives. They are responsible to their stakeholders (the members) and they must be visible in a potentially volatile environment.

We know the pressure on Commercial Services, Block Grants and the need for more Welfare, Representation, Campaigns, Clubs and Societies. We appreciate just how hard it can be to get the balance right.
